Sonic Summary

An experienced Airfreight Coordinator is needed for a client based in Sunbury, with a focus on handling export shipments.
The position offers hybrid working and requires relevant experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry, along with good knowledge of Inco Terms and Operations.
Key responsibilities include checking shipping documents, organizing collections, and following up on cargo arrival and clearance processes.
Candidates should possess excellent communication skills in English and an analytical, results-driven mindset, with knowledge of dangerous goods transportation being a plus.
The salary for this role is competitive, and candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the field.

Experienced Airfreight Coordinator required for our Sunbury based client. Working within the projects team, the Air Freight Coordinator with be experienced in handling export shipments. Hybrid working available.

Key Responsibilities:

Checking shipping documents (Invoice and Packing List), if all information matches with physical cargo, and if in good order for shipping
Organise collections, bookings, AWB cutting, and customs declarations, as well as other related tasks
Submit to overseas agents and confirm okayfor shipping as well as book space with the airline
Follow up cargo arrival at the airport and clearance process;
Pre-alert to abroad agent/importer, DAE and DAPE payment, and AWB issuance
Follow up shipping with airline as well as arrival at destination and internal procedures
Follow up cargo pickup and/or arrival at the airport and clearance process as well as Siscomex MANTRA details
Daily update to the customer (exporter) whichever phase it is
Send to Accounting Department, request for billing
Follow up billing and final payment process and preparing file for closing

Skills, knowledge and expertise:

Relevant experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry and good knowledge of Inco Terms and Operations
These qualities characterize you: analytical, results driven,assertiveness
Excellent communications skills in English (Cross-Functional and Cross-Cultural)
Knowledge of dangerous goods transportation and ADR accreditation is a plus
