Job Title: Road and Air Import Coordinator
Location: Sunbury-on-Thames,
Salary: Up to 35,000
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Road and Air Import Coordinator to manage and oversee the importation of goods via road and air. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, coordinate with suppliers and customs brokers, and handle documentation and logistics to facilitate smooth and timely import processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage air and road freight bookings, shipments, and documentation
- Coordinate with carriers, customs, and other service providers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Monitor and track air/road freight shipments from origin to destination
- Resolve any issues or delays in the air freight process, providing solutions in a timely manner
- Communicate with clients regarding shipment status, updates, and potential issues
- Ensure compliance with air freight regulations and company procedures
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in an air and road freight operations role
- Strong knowledge of air freight processes, documentation, and regulations
- Strong knowledge of road freight processes, documentation, and regulations
- Proficient in using freight management software and MS Office applications
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously
- Attention to detail and a customer-focused approach
