A Quality Manufacturing Engineer who has worked in a PCB Assembly Manufacturing Company and who has good knowledge of SMT / Thru-hole components for high reliability applications, will joinspecialist technology companywithin the renewable energy sector.
The Quality Manufacturing Engineer should bring a broad range of skills and knowledge with an emphasis on PCB Assembly Manufacturing operations (ideally running from paste application to AOI), ISO9001 / ISO14001 standards, APQP, Lean Manufacturing / Sigma methodologies as well as familiarity with IPC Certifications.
As this exciting company introduces its own manufacturing PCB assembly line, the successful Quality Engineer will support the PCBA Manager in all aspects of the production and test processes; improving standards with ISO9001/ISO14001 accreditation, managing the audit process as well as ensuring all quality systems are in line with legal and customer requirements.
Skills and experience for the Quality Manufacturing Engineer should include:
- An Electronics or relevant Engineering qualification.
- Quality Engineering experience within a PCB Assembly Manufacturing environment.
- Working to ISO9001 / ISO 14001 standards.
- Working with SMT operations.
- IPC Certification.
- Experience of APQP, Lean, Six Sigma.
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, process controls.
- Auditor qualification.
