A Manufacturing Technician with proven experience of working within an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering environment and who possesses a strong analytical and problem solving approach, will be rewarded by a thriving technology company in the renewable energy sector.

Applications are sought from Manufacturing Technicians with a minimum of a HND (or equivalent) in an Engineering discipline and who have a deep understanding of electronic manufacturing processes, working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and ideally APQP core tools.

The successful Manufacturing Technician, reporting to the Manufacturing Director, will help maintain factory output, will support continuous improvement in product quality and will undertake a range of other duties both independently and as part of a team.

Key Requirements include:

  • A formal Engineering qualification ideally in Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Relevant industry experience in a manufacturing support Engineer / Technician role.
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, APQP and problem solving tools great to see.
