Position: Service AdvisorLocation: SunburySalary: On ApplicationDuration: Permanent Full Time Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am to 6pm (One Saturday every 4 weeks)Overview of a Service Advisor As a Service Advisor you will be dealing with customer requirements for service and vehicle repairs in an efficient and courteous manner, ensuring customer requirements are fully understood and communicated in an effective manner to other members of staff to achieve a high standard of customer satisfaction. Responsibilities of a Service Advisor• To improve profitability, focus on promoting products and services, implementing service promotions, and cultivating business relationships, while ensuring accurate invoicing, job costing, and thorough handling of bookings. Additionally, prioritize personal development to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. • Make sure customer needs are met with professionalism, maintain high standards of service and housekeeping, accurately manage records and follow-ups, optimize workshop utilization, and address customer queries while staying updated through training and adhering to company policies. • Ensure effective cost control by coordinating with the Accounts department, accurately processing payments, obtaining confirmations for major repairs, collecting payments for cash sales, and striving to achieve first-time fix rate targets. • To ensure the customer area is always well-staffed for a welcoming experience and maintain a positive attitude toward both customers and staff. • Confirm that customers are informed of repairs, costs, and payment methods, obtaining their approval and maintaining accurate documentation. Update customer records, process claims promptly, and collaborate on database management for improved customer care.• Facilitate effective communication and oversee customer satisfaction by documenting any refusals of essential repairs while supervising vehicles and maintaining a clean reception area.
