Air Export Clerk

Right Now Group are working with a Freight Forwarder based local Sunbury-On-Thames, who are looking to bring aboard an Air Export Coordinator assist with their general freight and fine art shipments.This role will include some aspects of Air Imports. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with Air Imports but a solid background in Air Exports managing exports from beginning to end.Salary: £34000 - £40000Location: Sunbury - On - Thames Shift: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm

Responsibilities of an Air Export Clerk:

• Prepare and process all necessary documentation for exporting goods via air, including customs clearance documents, export declarations, bills of lading and AWB's/HAWB's.
• Coordinate with airlines, shippers, overseas agents and other transportation providers to book cargo for space on flights, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
• Provide detailed and profitable quotations.
• Serve as the main point of contact for customers, providing them with shipment status updates, addressing inquiries and concerns, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction throughout the export process.
• Client invoicing.
• Completing customs entries

The successful Air Export Clerk:

• Strong knowledge of, and at least 2 years of experience in 360 export operations relating to fast-moving commodities .
• Excellent commercial awareness.
• Experience within Air Imports
• Excellent communicator.
• Well organised.
