Freight & Logistics Administrator - Sunbury-On-Thames

We are currently looking for an Customer Service Administrator to join a leading global logistics provider, based in Sunbury, Middlesex.

This position is for Maternity cover only, Based on performance it could lead to temp-Permanent.

The start date for this Position will Be as soon as possible.

To provide operational support and excellent customer service to all customers and external partners. To meet deadlines and complete the work in a sufficient and timely manner as outlined by the office Supervisor and Team Leader. Able to operate flexibly in a team working environment, ensuring that performance standards are met, whilst promoting safe working practices.

Candidate responsibilities will include:

  • Provide supportive and assistance with both internal & external customers
  • Manifest daily export trailers and send related pre-advice.
  • Update collection and delivery status in a timely manner.
  • Monitored inbound/outbound calls daily
  • Answer customer queries within the agreed turnaround
  • Provide administrative support for any customer reporting requirements
  • Liaise with internal partner platforms
  • Ability to use own initiative to support problem solving
  • Build professional relationships with all partners
  • Provide delivery information to sites as requested
  • Completing customer projects
  • Other adhoc tasks in support of the operation as directed/requested

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OR ABILITIES

  • Excellent customer service and telephone manner
  • PC literacy with understanding of Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • The ability to use/learn software packages that are applicable to the job
  • Ability to prioritise, work independently and reach defined targets
  • Good interpersonal skills - able to deal with people at all levels
  • Passionate about delivering customer service excellence
  • Positive and can do attitude

Hours - Monday - Friday 09:00-18:00

Hours could change to 0600am/ 0800am starts depending on business needs.
