Do you have strong industrial experience relating to ultrasonic transducer technology? As a key member of a Multiphysics team youll get to work within the renewable energy sector.With a strong academic background to include a minimum of a MSc in Acoustics, Electronics or Instrumentation (PhD highly beneficial), the successful Acoustics Physicist /Transducer Engineer will bring experience in most of the following skills:

  • Ultrasonic transducer technology.
  • Multiphysics FEA simulation (COMSOL & ANSYS).
  • Piezoelectric component level design for high reliability industry.
  • Ultrasonic sensors.
  • Experience in the design of flowmeter technology.

In this Senior Ultrasonic Transducer Engineer role you will undertake component level design, prototyping and validation of transducers to optimize performance, reliability and production yield of sensor products; identifying critical quality design aspects with a focus on acoustics, mechanics and piezoelectric performance.
