Scope of Role: To complete mechanical assembly work to following technical drawings.
This role will be working the late shift 1.30pm to 10.00pm Monday to Thursday and 11.30am to 5.00pm on Friday. There will be 25% shift allowance!
The shift work will last for a period of 12 months and after that period, the role will go back to day shift.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

You will be carrying out some of the following duties:

  • Mechanical assembly work
  • Building & assembling of small sub-assemblies.
  • Building Fans/motors & heaters following assembly drawings & instructions.
  • Assembling products to company standards.
  • Ability to use various hand tools such as spanners, screw drivers, allen keys, torque wrenches as well electric power tools.
  • Must be able to use measuring equipment such as Verniers & Micrometers
  • Point to point wiring, crimping of small cables.
  • Soldering of small components
  • Carry out general assembly duties on various products

Key Knowledge & Experience:

  • Able to read and understand drawings and or CMMs and or SOP's
  • Able to work from SOPs in tandem with drawings
  • Able to read, write and understand English.
  • Knowledge of tools, i.e. circlip pliers, pliers, screwdrivers, tweezers, scrapers, Swiss files etc
  • Soldering skills on small components
  • Skills on the use of machines, lathes, drills etc
  • Brazing desirable
  • Ability to work in a team

Hours of work: 8.00am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, Friday 8.00am to 1.00pm
