A Quality Engineer with previous experience of working within a medium to high volume manufacturing environment for high reliability, automotive or aerospace applications will join a specialist technology company, working within the renewable energy sector.

The ideal Quality Engineer will bring a broad range of skills and knowledge from electronic manufacturing operations to ISO9001 / ISO14001 standards, APQP, Lean Manufacturing / Sigma methodologies and IPC Certifications.

As this exciting company introduces its own manufacturing PCB assembly line, the successful Quality Engineer will contribute to the development of Integrated Management systems, improving standards with ISO9001/ISO14001 accreditation, managing the audit process as well as ensuring all quality systems are in line with legal and customer requirements.

Skills and experience will ideally include:

  • An Electronics or relevant Engineering Degree or equivalent.
  • Commercial Quality Engineering experience within a manufacturing environment for high reliability, electronic, automotive or aerospace applications.
  • Working to ISO9001 / ISO 14001 standards.
  • Experience of APQP, Lean, Six Sigma.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, process controls.
  • Auditor qualification.
  • Familiarity with IPC Certifications.
