Salary : From £60,000 + Package
Job Summary:
The Freight Forwarding Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the branch's operations, management, and overall performance. This position entails leading a team, nurturing client relationships and driving the branch's profitability and growth.
Duties:
- Supervise daily branch operations to ensure smooth and efficient work flows.
- Develop and implement effective operational strategies and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate performance metrics to improve operational efficiency.
- Recruit, train, and mentor branch staff.
- Cultivate a positive and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
- Address and resolve customer issues and concerns promptly.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the client base.
- Manage the branch's budget, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Prepare and analyse financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure cost-effective practices without compromising service quality.
- Ensure the branch complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Implement and maintain health and safety standards.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business.
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to drive revenue growth.
