About You:

  • Experienced Manufacturing Team Leader.
  • Previous experience of leading a team of up to 5/6 Assembly Technicians.
  • Must have Aerospace manufacturing experience.
  • Competent in understand aerospace standards.
  • 80% hands on electro- mechanical work & 20% computing work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to meet and exceed production targets and cell objectives.
  • Monitor and report on production performance using agreed QCD metrics.
  • Identify and escalate any manufacturing performance issues promptly to the Cell Leader.
  • Foster a strong quality culture, ensuring both product quality and required paperwork are maintained.
  • Overseeing a team of 5/6 production technicians.
  • Oversee staff training, maintain skills matrices, and provide feedback on progress.
  • Propose and implement continuous improvement initiatives for processes.
  • Liaise with the Cell Leader regarding changes to manufacturing processes, batch travellers, or drawings.
  • Expediting of materials on to the system.
  • Monitor and reduce material rework, implementing product quality monitoring.
  • Keep accurate records of team attendance and ensure paperwork is complete.
  • Approve holidays and absences in collaboration with the Cell Lead.


Due to the nature of the work, candidates must be eligible for BPSS Clearance.
Must be able to provide 3 years of employment history.
