We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Floating Support Worker. The role is full time and will be offered on a temporary to permanent basis with a salary of approx. £28k at the end of the temporary period of three months. The role will be taking care of a patch focused across West London with an occasion once a fortnight to visit properties outside of London. The role is full time at 37.5 hours per week and offering 1 day of remote working whilst not on patch.

Please note this role requires a full UK Driving Licence and an Enhanced DBS

Day to day duties will include:- Visit clients to assess the need for tenancy management and sustainment services- Ensure tenants understand their tenant obligations and their rights and responsibilities outlined in the tenancy agreement- Contribute to ensuring that tenants are allocated housing according to need by Interviewing applicants who are likely to be offered accommodation- Assist people to live well, be independent and connected to their own community- Assist with the provision of a comprehensive housing management and tenancy sustainment service for tenants- Enable vulnerable people with low to medium support needs to sustain a tenancy and achieve independent living and to ensure that tenants are allocated housing according to need- Undertake initial and continuous assessment of needs and potential risks and agree levels of support- Empower clients to ensure they receive the service and benefits they are entitled to and advocate on their behalf
