Based in Sunbury-on-Thames, they pride themselves on delivering high-quality work and maintaining a strong, reliable team. They’re now looking to grow their workshop crew and bring on an enthusiastic and skilled Mechanic to support their busy operations.

The Role

This is a hands-on role assisting with the maintenance and repair of a wide range of commercial vehicles. You’ll play a key part in keeping our fleet in top condition, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial vans
Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools
Maintain high standards of workmanship and efficiency
Accurately complete paperwork and service documentation
Coordinate with the team to ensure timely vehicle availability
Support the development of preventative maintenance plans
Adhere to all health and safety procedures and regulations

The Ideal Candidate:

They’re looking for someone proactive, technically skilled, and reliable. You’ll need to be confident in your mechanical abilities and committed to safety and quality. About you:

Previous experience as a mechanic (preferably with commercial vehicles)
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Relevant mechanical qualification (NVQ or equivalent)
Good communication and teamwork abilities
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Full UK driving licence
Sound knowledge of vehicle regulations and standards
