They’re now looking to grow their workshop crew and bring on an enthusiastic and skilled Mechanic to support their busy operations.

The Role

This is a hands-on role assisting with the maintenance and repair of a wide range of commercial vehicles. You’ll play a key part in keeping our fleet in top condition, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial vans
  • Diagnose and fix mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and efficiency
  • Accurately complete paperwork and service documentation
  • Coordinate with the team to ensure timely vehicle availability
  • Support the development of preventative maintenance plans
  • Adhere to all health and safety procedures and regulations

  • Previous experience as a mechanic (preferably with commercial vehicles)
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Relevant mechanical qualification (NVQ or equivalent)
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Sound knowledge of vehicle regulations and standards
