Assistant Management AccountantNigel Wright are currently working with a well known business seeking an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. This role offers 1 day per week from home, after initial training period. The RoleAs Assistant Management Accountant, your main responsibilities will be: •    Assist with producing timely and accurate monthly management accounts and reports•    Analysis and review of detailed P&L accounts with narrative against budget and prior year•    P&L reviews for actuals and budget, attend and take lead in quarterly reviews with responsible head office budget holders•    Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts and timely resolve of issues as appropriate•    Production of weekly management reports  for issue to senior managers and Directors•    Accurately and reliably producing key information and financials •    Develop a strong working relationship within the finance team to jointly achieve key goals•    Provide cover when required for Finance AssistantThe CandidateIdeally to be successful in this role, you will have: •    AAT or ACCA Qualification or equivalent (or willing to work towards an Accounts qualification)•    Excellent attention to detail•    Strong MS Excel skills•    Proactive with strong organisational skills•    Analytical with a methodical approach to problem solving•    Good written and oral communication skills•    Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues at all levels•    Ability to prioritise workload to achieve tight deadlines in a fast paced environmentApplicationsAre you interested in this role?
