Sonic Summary

The JobA Financial Controller position is a 12-month contract role that reports to the CFO and collaborates closely with the Managing Director.
This is a standalone finance opportunity that allows for hybrid working arrangements.
Key responsibilities include managing financial statements, ensuring internal controls, performing financial reporting, and conducting job costings and analysis for the Senior Leadership Team.
Candidates should be qualified accountants (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with experience at the Controller level and a strong knowledge of accounting standards.
Preferred candidates will have manufacturing or construction experience, with a competitive salary offered for the role.

The JobA Financial Controller will be hired for a period of 12 months. This role reports to the CFO and works closely with the MD of the site day to day and is a stand alone finance opportunity. Hybrid working can be accommodated.Day to day responsibilities:

Take responsibility for the financial statements for the SLT and undertake all accounting related activities
Ensure internal controls are adhered to.
Financial reporting.
Job costings
Analysis and providing insight to the SLT to enable good commercial decisions
Track performance of projects and WIP

Qualified Accountant, CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent
Experienced to Controller level
Up to date knowledge of accounting standards and legislation
Strong Excel and accounting software
Manufacturing or Construction experience is preferred
