Sellick Partnership is currently assisting in the recruitment of a Legal Cashier for a law firm in Sunderland on a permanent basis. This role is paying between £25,000 - £29,000.

Responsibilities of the Legal Cashier include:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the firm
  • Process client and office account transactions, including receipts, payments, and transfers
  • Reconcile bank statements and client ledgers
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns
  • Handle client billing and invoicing
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial closing processes
  • Ensure compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience in a similar role
  • Have excellent attention to detail
  • Have strong communication skills
