STEM Recruitment solutions are looking for team members to join our client's team in Sunderland. We're looking for talented individuals to fill the role of Machine Operator in our cutting-edge manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities:
- Operate state-of-the-art machinery
- Load parent reels onto the unwind unit and unload finished goods from the rewind section.
- Monitor work in progress reels throughout production to ensure quality and meet customer specifications.
- Conduct regular quality checks including glue weights, wax weights, and slitting tolerances.
- Quarantine suspect or poor-quality products and complete necessary documentation.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in machine operation and manufacturing are not essential as full training will be provided.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Good timekeeping and attendance are essential
Working a rotation of 4 on 4 off on a day and night shift pattern : 6am-6pm and 6pm-6am.
