Job Title: Bricklayer's Labourer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Bricklayer's Labourer to join our clients team and support a skilled bricklayer on various construction projects for a housing association. The ideal candidate will assist with preparing materials, maintaining a clean and safe workspace, and ensuring the bricklayer has everything required to complete tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities of Bricklayers Labourer:
- Assisting the bricklayer with preparing and mixing mortar to the correct consistency.
- Carrying and transporting bricks, blocks, and other materials to the worksite.
- Maintaining a clean and organised workspace, removing debris, and disposing of waste.
- Loading and unloading tools, materials, and equipment as needed.
- Ensuring materials are stocked and readily available for the bricklayer.
- Setting up work areas, including scaffolding and safety barriers where required.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Performing additional tasks as directed by the bricklayer or site manager.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Previous experience in a similar labouring or construction role is advantageous but not essential.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials.
- Awareness of on-site health and safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Qualifications:
- CSCS card (preferred but not mandatory).
- Full UK driving license.
