Our client is a leading organisation in the engineering industry, specialising in the design and manufacture of HV/LV packaged sub-stations, electrical switchboards, and control equipment. About The Job:
As a Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our client's Project Management Team. You will be responsible for project governance and administration, ensuring efficient and timely execution of a variety of technically demanding projects. Your strong administration skills, excellent attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and colleagues at all levels will be essential for success.
Responsibilities Include:
- Documenting Change Notes, Technical Queries, and Early Warnings
- Supporting financial processes, including time sheet approval, procurement requisitions, and spend forecasts
- Managing resourcing and materials budgets
- Monthly financial reporting
- Ensuring adherence to governance standards
- Providing regular progress reports on project status, risks, and issues
- Supporting scheduling of activities and milestones
- Documenting meetings
- General administration duties
What You Need to Qualify:
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members
- Solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrable time management and organisational skills
- Willingness to adapt and work across different teams and disciplines
- Desire to learn and develop personal skills
- Previous experience in technical project environments is beneficial
- Familiarity with engineering site tasks and fast-paced operational teams is advantageous
- Ability to track and manage complex budgets
- Approximately 3 years of experience in a comparable environment is preferred
- Excellent Excel skills
