About the Role
You will play a key role in administering and developing our Management Information Systems. This includes working with databases, interfaces, and processes in line with IT policies and procedures. You will produce datasets using SQL to support management reporting and system interoperability.
Main Duties
- Implement new installations and integrate with core Management Information Systems, ensuring compliance with policies.
- Assist in software upgrades and maintain integrated databases supplementary to the main records systems.
- Develop web-based solutions to improve information access.
- Design and produce reports using SQL databases, combining data from multiple sources.
- Work proactively with system users to enhance data quality and operational efficiency.
About the Candidate
The ideal candidate will be flexible, passionate about data management, and possess strong SQL programming skills. You should be self-motivated, enjoy problem-solving, and work well within a team to deliver projects to a high standard.
Experience and Knowledge
- Strong experience in writing complex SQL code and managing information systems.
- Extensive experience with RDBMS such as SQL Server or Oracle.
- Proficiency in SQL tools and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, particularly Microsoft Visio and Excel.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical staff at all levels.
