Level 3 Nursery Practitioner - South Shields Location: South Shields Job Type: Full-time/Part-time Start Date: ASAP Inspire Young Minds as a Nursery Practitioner!Prospero Teaching is seeking enthusiastic and experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join our excellent Nurseries in South Shields. If you're passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of young children, this role is for you! Key Responsibilities:路 Protect and promote the health and well-being of children 路 Ensure that safeguarding procedures are followed 路 Implement and deliver the EYFS curriculum in accordance with the childrens social, emotional, physical and intellectual needs. 路 Support childrens learning and development through play 路 Be a key person to a small group of children and build positive relationships with their families 路 Monitor childrens progress to ensure they reach their developmental targets 路 Plan and create activities which keep children engaged throughout the day 路 Help prepare children for the transition into school life Key Requirements:路 Experience of working in a pre-school setting or other similar experience. 路 Diploma in Level 3 Early Years 路 A good, sound knowledge and understanding of EYFS. 路 Sound understanding of child development and of childrens needs and current legislation relevant to the Early Years. 路 Ability and experience of implementing an Early Years curriculum, taking into account the SEND Code of Practice, child protection procedures, religious and cultural diversity and equal opportunities considerations. 路 Ability to communicate effectively in a variety of ways, verbally and in writing 路 Caring attitude and a friendly, flexible approach.
