Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project teams to meet and exceed client requirements.
- Lead and mentor teams of designers and engineers to deliver exceptional work packages.
- Design and develop HV/MV solutions, from initial concepts through to implementation.
- Stay updated on the latest engineering trends, tools, and best practices.
- Produce high-quality deliverables in line with industry standards.
- Prioritize safety by adhering to relevant health and safety regulations.
- Support project estimates and proposals to fuel our growth.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Expertise in designing HV & MV distribution, protection, and control systems.
- Ability to create and review schematic drawings and single line diagrams.
- Proficiency in conducting HV/MV system studies and fault level reporting.
- Proven experience in detailed design and equipment selection/procurement for HV/MV systems.
- Skilled in electrical design tools such as ETAP (or similar).
- Project management and subcontractor coordination experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering within regulated industries.
- Familiarity with European and International Standards and best practices.
- At least 3 years’ experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer.
Desirable:
- Experience with naval dockyard electrical systems.
- Familiarity with AMTECH/Trimble Pro Design tools.
- Understanding of MoD standards and virtual team collaboration.
Security Clearance Requirements
Due to the nature of the projects, you may need to meet specific residency criteria to attain UK security clearance (minimum SC level). Existing clearance is advantageous.
