In this crucial role, you'll be part of a dynamic team ensuring the smooth operation of manufacturing processes. Your primary responsibility will be maintaining and repairing equipment, supporting day-to-day production operations, and ensuring the plant operates efficiently within a safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose & Repair: You will attend breakdowns, identify faults, and problem-solve quickly to minimize downtime.
  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on all plant equipment, ensuring it meets operational standards.
  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance work meets high-quality standards and complies with safety regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Be a part of improvement activities to enhance equipment reliability and support production efficiency.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Assist in developing and carrying out PPM schedules to ensure smooth production.
  • Training & Development: Ongoing professional development and opportunities for further training and skills advancement.
  • Team Support: Collaborate with a team of skilled professionals and contribute to a positive working environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Skills: Ability to interpret engineering and technical information, troubleshoot complex issues, and apply structured problem-solving methods.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, especially in the automotive sector, is desirable.
  • Qualifications: Ideally, youll have an ONC, A Levels, City & Guilds Level 3, or similar qualifications in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Personal Attributes: Strong communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a self-motivated, flexible approach to work. You'll need to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
