Randstad Construction & Property is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician for a temporary ongoing position in Darlington, which may lead to a permanent role.
The salary for this position is £20.27 per hour, with a standard work schedule of Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00.
Candidates must have at least 18th Edition certification and experience in the FM or building maintenance industry.
Responsibilities include carrying out electrical PPMs, fixed wire testing, emergency lighting testing, and monitoring the BMS system.
Ideal candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills, a can-do attitude, and the ability to pass a DBS check.

Randstad Construction & Property are working on behalf of a National Facilities Management company to find an experienced and collaborative Maintenance Electrician to join their team based in Darlington

This position is starting ASAP and would be a temporary ongoing opportunity, which could lead to becoming permanent for the right candidate

Location: Sunderland

Salary: £20.27 per hour

Key benefits:

Monday-Friday working (40 hours per week)
08:00 - 16:00

An average day will include the following:

Carrying out general tasks and electrical PPMs
Must have experience in carrying out fixed wire testing
Emergency lighting testing
Monitoring the BMS system
Finding faults and reactive work when required
Complying with health and safety legislation/policies
Providing a quality service to customers and contract holders

An ideal candidate will have:

18th Edition
Experience of working within FM or the building maintenance industry

An ideal candidate will be:

Able to understand complex information and demonstrate attention to detail
Remain professional and communicate strongly
A can-do attitude
Able to pass a DBS
