Nigel Wright Tech is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer for a North East based FMCG business, with the position being office-based.
The role involves database management and creating complex queries for Power BI visualization, as part of a team of four.
Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining SQL databases, optimizing SQL queries, and developing reports using SSRS.
Candidates must have proficiency in SQL, experience with SSRS and SSIS, and familiarity with database design principles.
The position requires at least 3 years of experience, and the salary is competitive based on experience.

Please note - this position will be office based The RoleJoining a team of four you will be responsible for database management as well as creating complex queries to extract data for Power BI visualisation. Key responsibilities include:

Design, develop and maintain SQL databases and data integration solutions to meet business requirements
Analyse and optimise SQL queries and stored procedures to improve performance and efficiency
Work closely with business analysts, developers and stakeholders to deliver data solutions that support business objectives
Develop and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and visualise data through Power BI to provide insight on trends and opportunities

The RequirementsKey requirements include:

Proficiency in SQL with strong knowledge of T-SQL, including writing complex queries, stored procedures and functions
Experience with SSRS and SSIS
Familiarity with database design principles
Ability to deliver data insights via Power BI or similar visualisation tools
