KCR Solutions are delighted to be recruiting for a qualified Senior Finance Manager on an 18-month contract basis for this excellent, dynamic business. Your duties will be as follows:

  • Responsible for the group finance team and the development of the shared finance function
  • Managing a team of 6 and providing guidance and mentoring
  • Leading the preparation of year end accounts, audit files and information for the auditors
  • Delivering monthly management accounts and variance analysis, to strict deadlines
  • Reviewing calculations of depreciation, prepayments, accruals and other provisions
  • Overseeing balance sheet reconciliations and taking action to resolve issues as they arise
  • Reviewing and approving monthly, quarterly and annual taxes for overseas company
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns (VAT group and single company VAT registrations) including output and input reconciliations
  • Managing the purchase ledger process
  • Payroll reconciliations
  • Delivering process improvements and identify opportunities for efficiency
  • Taking the lead on migration of brands to our finance system
  • Reviewing and approving or denying change requests to purchases and staff expenses
  • Managing intercompany recharge process and reconciliations
  • Supporting the senior leadership team
  • Ad-hoc reporting as required by management and other functions within the group
  • Daily banking tasks including reviewing and authorising payments for UK and foreign bank accounts
  • Absence cover for other members of the finance team

You will be a fully qualified Accountant with strong experience in a similar role. Advanced Excel skills are required and a good knowledge of working with an ERP system would be advantageous, as well as a knowledge of payroll processes.
