Velocity UK is seeking an experienced FLT operative for a busy engineering works in Newcastle.
The role involves moving, storing, and recording stock, as well as checking deliveries and ensuring materials are easily identifiable.
Candidates must have a Counterbalance Forklift truck licence and experience in an engineering environment is preferred.
The position requires a hard-working, diligent, and team-oriented individual with a great attitude towards work.
The pay ranges from £13 to £19.50 per hour, and applicants should have relevant experience.

Velocity UK are urgently looking for an experienced FLT operative to work in the stores area of our client's busy engineering works. The client is based in Newcastle and it is a friendly environment.

Main Duties will include:

Moving, storing and recording of stock.

Checking and taking deliveriesEnsuring that materials are segregated appropriately and can be easily found and identified.Bring components to the engineering teams.Check stock on a regular basis and correct quantitiesEnsure the security of the site and of goods leaving or entering the site.

Any other related duties to meet the needs of the business.

Requirements:

Counterbalance Forklift truck licenceOperatives must be hard-working, diligent and dextrousExperience of working in an engineering environment is useful.Great attitude to work is essentialMust be a good team worker.

Hours of work are 07:30-16.30 Mon to Thurs, 07.30 to 14.00 Fri.Pay: £13 - 19.50/hr
