Role responsibilities
  • Leading audits from planning through to completion, ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Preparing accounts for a wide range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Reviewing work prepared by junior staff, providing feedback and mentoring
  • Liaising directly with clients to resolve queries and build strong relationships
  • Identifying opportunities to add value through advisory services and recommendations
  • Staying updated on changes in accounting and audit standards to ensure compliance
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of internal processes
  • Supporting the firm’s business development initiatives where appropriate

Candidate requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience, with a minimum of 4 years in an accountancy practice
