The Company:

Automotive component manufacturing business looking to recruit a new Tooling Supervisor to manage machinery, resources, equipment and systems are ran smoothly and reliably.

Job Description:

  • The management of direct reports including recruitment, performance management, reward and recognition, and training and development.
  • Planning, coordinating, and deploying technical resources to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Organising and delivering planned maintenance on-time utilizing available resources.
  • Achieving KPIs, including planned maintenance adherence and time spent on planned maintenance.
  • Prioritising and closing out routine activities, including ZIP audits, training compliance, layered audits, skill development, and housekeeping audits.
  • Driving collaborative and cross-functional working.
  • Managing the engineering stores area for equipment and tools.
  • Identifying and intervening on issues that may affect the operation, escalating issues
  • Leading planned maintenance activities, including technical improvement activities.
  • Ensuring adherence to and entry of RPO and MTTR data (documentation of jobs/hours completed through electronic reporting methods).
  • Completing housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness within own and related areas.
  • Championing the company's code of conduct, policies, and procedures.
  • Supporting the repair and maintenance of all process and facilities equipment in a timely manner.
