Job Opportunity: Advanced Clinical Practitioner - Urgent Care/Out-of-Hours

Role Overview

As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) in Urgent Treatment Centres, you will play a key role in enhancing the capacity and capability of multi-professional teams. This is a dynamic, patient-focused position involving the assessment of health and clinical needs for a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive consultations, including taking patient histories, performing physical examinations, and using advanced clinical judgment to diagnose, treat, refer, or discharge patients.
  • Prescribe medications or refer to primary/secondary care specialists following local protocols and pathways.
  • Provide clinical mentorship and advice to junior staff members, supporting their development.
  • Work autonomously to manage urgent care cases in alignment with local and national guidelines.
