The successful HSE coordinator / Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator / Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor shall provide comprehensive coordination and administrative support for all environmental, health, and safety (EHS) requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The HSE coordinator will ideally have previous experience as a EHS Coordinator, Health & Safety Coordinator, Environmental Coordinator, HSE Advisor, Health, Safety & Environmental Administrator, Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator, Health & Safety Coordinator or similar.

- Manage daily operations by coordinating site visitors, handling hazard reports, and addressing manufacturing needs.
- Procure parts and supplies for EHS / HSE and site services.
- Maintain EHS/ HSE and site services KPIs, report data, and lead improvement projects.
- Manage purchasing and stock control, data input, report writing, COSHH controls, occupational health, business continuity, visitor management, and improvement projects oversight.
- Assist in managing accidents, incidents, and near-misses, conducting investigations, preparing reports, and overseeing audits and site inspections.
- Oversee PPE requirements, including safety shoes, overalls, corporate workwear, and task-specific PPE.
- Support contractor control, validation, setup, and specific requirements.
- Previous experience as a EHS coordinator / Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator / Health, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator / HSE Coordinator / HSE Advisor / Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor / Health, Safety & Environmental Administrator / H&S coordinator or similar.
- NEBOSH or IOSH certificate or interest in achieving the qualification.
- Fully site-based in Sunderland.
- Experience in EHS or manufacturing coordination and administration.
- Experience in a HSE / EHS / health and safety role.
