Our Client:Nigel Wright are very pleased to be working closely with a well established specialist manufacturer to recruit into a new position of HSE Manager, to support significant business growth.The opportunity:Due to recent and continuous business growth the role of HSE Manager is a newly created position to lead the site in all aspects of HSE. The role will be responsible for leading a pro-active and sustainable HSE culture which supports the business in it's onward strategies. Previous experience within an HSE Leadership role, within an industrial manufacturing environment
Demonstrable ability to set and deliver a robust safety strategy, with a strong track record of raising standards
Well developed communication skills and ability to influence and give confidence
Hands-on approach, visible on the shop floor to ensure positive engagement
Strong knowledge of ISO standards, including ability to implement, audit and manage
Strong people management skills
