Future Select specialise in recruitment within the Environmental sector, and we are working closely with a provider of Environmental / Occupational Hygiene services for Commercial and Industrial clients. They are now seeking to take on a qualified and hard-working Occupational Hygiene Consultant to join their longstanding team. You will be covering the North East region, carrying out various occupational hygiene duties including but not limited to: air monitoring, hand arm vibration surveys, LEV examinations and testing of indoor air quality. Consideration will be given to candidates from: Tynemouth, South Shields, Newcastle upon Tyne, Hexham, Consett, Durham, Peterlee, Barnard Castle, Peterlee, Hartlepool, Stockton on Tees, Middlesbrough, Saltburn-by-the-Sea, Darlington, Ashington, Morpeth, Redcar.
Experience & Qualifications:
" Holding 1-2 BOHS qualifications in relation to Occupational Hygiene would be essential to the role (W501, W505, P601)
" Will have a strong background working as an Occupational Hygienist, working for a reputable environmental company.
" Exceptional knowledge of relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
" Providing detailed and technical reports for clients.
" Able to work to client and company timelines.
The Role:
" Visiting Commercial and Industrial sites to carry out in depth air monitoring, COSHH, noise, fume, dust and hand arm vibration survey (HAVS) assessments.
" Conducting Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) examinations.
" Conducting tests on indoor air quality, emissions, and legionella.
" Ensuring work is conducted in line with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
" Providing clients with excellent technical advice, support, and in-depth reports.
" Working in line with company and client time limits.
" Assisting in the training of trainee Occupational Hygienists.
