The School and Role

We are looking for a passionate TA to work on a part-time basis at a school in Sunderland. This role will be working 1:1 with a child with Cerebral Palsy so previous SEN experience is essential however the school will provide relevant training for the child’s needs. This is a mornings only role and the hours would be 8:20am until 12:30pm, Monday-Friday. This school boasts a supportive SLT team that have created an inclusive environment for all.

Requirements

The desired SEND Teaching Assistant will have;

-       Experience of working with primary school aged children

-       Experience of working with pupils with SEND

-       A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

-       An ability to work as part of a team

-          Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification
