Sonic Summary

We are seeking 10-12 Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Operatives for grass cutting in Sunderland from mid-March to the end of October 2025.
The position offers a pay rate of £12.85 per hour for a 37-hour work week.
Candidates are preferred to have experience in grounds maintenance or outdoor work, although it is not essential.
Responsibilities include operating strimmers, maintaining green spaces, and assisting the cleansing team as needed.

Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Operatives (Grass Cutting) - 37 Hours per Week

Location: Sunderland Contract: Mid-March 2025 - End of October 2025Pay: £12.85 per hour

We are looking for 10-12 Seasonal Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our team for the grass-cutting season. If you enjoy working outdoors and being part of a team that keeps public spaces clean and well-maintained, this could be the perfect role for you.

Responsibilities:

Operate strimmers and other equipment for grass cutting
Work with the grounds maintenance team to keep green spaces in top condition
Assist the cleansing team when needed, including litter picking, supporting area cabac drivers, and completing specific tasks

Requirements:

Experience in grounds maintenance or outdoor work is preferred but not essential
Ability to use strimmers and similar equipment (training may be provided)
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
