Salary: Grade 6 (SCP 22-25) £32,654 - £35,235 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent

The Council’s Building Cleaning team provide a high-quality cleaning service across civic, educational and community buildings.

The Role

The role of Supervisor primarily involves managing teams of cleaners in areas across the city to deliver services to performance standards agreed with customers.

As well as managing and motivating teams and individuals the role requires monitoring of contract performance, ensuring the delivery of safe and affective services that meet legislative obligations and regularly engaging with customers.

Skills and Qualifications

The successful candidate should have:

  • Previous experience of managing teams of staff to achieve agreed business objectives.
  • A good level of digital and numerical skills and an understanding of financial and administration processes and systems.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, staff and customers
  • A desire and commitment to further their develop skills and knowledge.
