IT Support Analyst

On-site in Sunderland

Up to £40,000 + Shift Allowance

We are currently working with a leading manufacturing company based in Sunderland, who are seeking a talented IT Support Analyst to join their dynamic Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on-site in Sunderland, providing essential technical support to both internal and external users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain critical IT infrastructure, including servers, network appliances, and PCs.
  • Provide expert technical support for manufacturing systems (MES) and corporate systems (Microsoft 365).
  • Deliver exceptional Helpdesk services, resolving incidents and fulfilling requests efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the wider IT team to develop and implement innovative solutions.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of robust IT policies and procedures.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Proven IT support experience, particularly in infrastructure and IS systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure 1 and meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work shifts (continental shift pattern).

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Relevant IT degree or certification.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for business purposes.
