Are you an experienced 2nd Line Application Engineer looking to take a step up into a lead role? We are looking for an experienced 2nd Line Application Engineer to join a growing business in the North East to address complex issues and act as an SME to the wider business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Provide advanced technical support for internal and external applications, acting as a subject matter expert, addressing complex issues escalated from the 1st Line Support team.
- Manage user access, permission and application configuration changes across bespoke and off the shelf applications.
- Act as the technical lead in major incident management driving rapid resolution and fostering a continuous improvement and automation environment.
What you’ll bring:
- Proven experience acting in a senior/lead capacity for 2nd line application support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset to tackle complex problems.
- Knowledge of AD / Azure / SQL.
- A passion for support and engaging with the wider business to resolve and improve end user experience.
