Cyber Security Manager - Sunderland - £64,000The Company:Lorien Global are working with a multinational manufacturing organisation whom are seeking to expand their cyber security posture. With ambitious growth planned over the coming years there's opportunity for you to lead the security hardening of the UK based operations.The Role:Joining the IT team, you'll be working closely with the Regional IT Director to ensure the security posture adheres to strict local and global security standards. You'll be responsible for managing the team of technical staff to ensure the delivery of this development. We're looking for someone to be a business wide advocate for the security governance and compliance, ensuring the necessary requirements are in place for audit requirements. The Requirements:Successful candidates will have a blend of the following:

• Proven experience in a Cyber Security leadership position, having delivered strategic goals in Cyber Security Governance and Compliance
• Experience working with external regulators and management of third-party providers
• Excellent cyber security knowledge, covering best practice and general industry trends
• Good understanding of ISO 27001, NIST and GDPR requirements
• Solid risk management skills
• Good collaboration skills, communicating across and presenting to various departments
