The RoleThe Systems Owner will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance and improvement of critical IT systems within the organisation. Key responsibilities include:

Collaborate with business stakeholders and Business Analysts to gather and document requirements for new systems or enhancements to existing systems and integrations
Develop and implement strategies to enhance system capability, scalability, security and efficiency
Collaborate with the cyber security team to ensure that systems meet security standards and compliance requirements
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams and end users, to understand their requirements and priorities
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes and procedures

The RequirementsKey requirements:

Proven experience in IT system administration, with a focus on system management, optimisation and security
Knowledge of operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux), virtualisation technologies, networking and storage systems
Experience of vendor, procurement and contract management is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of software development methodologies
