The CompanyNigel Wright Tech is delighted to be working with a not-for-profit organisation in their search for a Systems Owner.  The RoleThe Systems Owner will be responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance and improvement of critical IT systems within the organisation. Key responsibilities include: 
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and Business Analysts to gather and document requirements for new systems or enhancements to existing systems and integrations 
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance system capability, scalability, security and efficiency 
  • Collaborate with the cyber security team to ensure that systems meet security standards and compliance requirements 
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams and end users, to understand their requirements and priorities 
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes and procedures 
The RequirementsKey requirements: 
  • Proven experience in IT system administration, with a focus on system management, optimisation and security 
  • Knowledge of operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux), virtualisation technologies, networking and storage systems 
  • Experience of vendor, procurement and contract management is highly desirable 
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies
