Rework Team Leader

Up to 27,500 + Shift allowance

2 shifts, possibility to move to 3 shifts.

Permanent after trial period

An automotive manufacturing business based in Sunderland, are looking for an enthusiastic Rework Team Leader to join the production department.

The ideal candidate will have experience of reworking products within a busy manufacturing environment.

Role & Responsibilities

Lead a team of rework operative staff and be responsible for their performance, safety, training, and time sheets.

Working closely with Production Supervisors to plan and monitor all quality issues in your zone.

Planning equipment, material, and manpower requirements to meet production schedule.

Working closely with Production in resolving production planning and control issues.

Deliver daily team briefs on production figures and carry out regular appraisals.

Generating reports on quality issues.

Knowledge & Experience

Previous experience within a similar role ideally within the automotive industry

The ability to prioritise a heavy workload and work effectively.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate a team.

Must be prepared to work shifts and overtime when required by the business.
