The Job you’ll do
- To maintain all machinery owned or hired by the company
- To maintain preventative maintenance programme
- Responsible for internal facilities e.g., heating, lighting, and domestic appliances.
- Ensure breakdowns are dealt with as soon as possible to reduce downtime.
- Facilitate installing new and existing machinery.
- General maintenance of electrical equipment and systems
- Co-ordinate contractors as required
- Maintain adequate spares to support the plant
- Take part in performance improvement programmes
- To comply with legal requirements and to work within Company health and safety guidelines
- To assist and train other members of staff.
- Maintain high level of general housekeeping
- Computer literate and able to use the main software packages
About You
- Experience in a Multiskilled Maintenance role within Engineering/Manufacturing (mechanical bias)
- Excellent fault finding and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with staff at all levels.
- Machine tool and fitting experience desirable.
- Computer literate and able to use the main software packages.
