Reed in Sunderland are delighted to work with a client who are looking for an ongoing temporary administrator to join their dynamic team to support team as a Business Support Assistant. This role is crucial not just in supporting individuals across the group and its subsidiaries but also in ensuring that their facilities and fleet are fully operational. 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Monitor the main email inbox for the business, ensuring timely responses and appropriate forwarding.
  • Handle incoming calls with professionalism, providing information and routing calls as necessary.
  • Greet visitors, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety protocols by signing them in.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing post, directing it to relevant departments.
  • Coordinate travel and accommodation bookings for staff as required.
  • Order and manage stationery supplies.
  • Perform general office tasks such as photocopying, printing, and scanning.
  • Assist with facilities management tasks, including liaising with cleaning staff and maintaining fire safety protocols.
  • Liaise effectively with employees across all departments, business units, and subsidiaries to facilitate smooth operations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organisational abilities.
  • Confidence in dealing with individuals at all levels within the organisation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT skills.
