Staffpower Healthcare are recruiting for multiple Support Workers to support children and young people in residential settings, bespoke, unique and home settings.

We are looking for experienced support workers to work alongside local authorities to support children and young people. We have roles in the Northumberland, Durham and Hartlepool areas.

  • Report any accident or incident occurring during a period of support immediately to your line manager and care home manager
  • Adhering to all policies, procedures outlined in Staffpower Groups application procedures

The role:

  • Supporting vulnerable children and young people with a range of needs including, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health issues, ADHD and Autism, these duties and responsibilities cannot totally define or encompass all tasks which may be required.
  • You will be in a team of healthcare professionals across the board from other support workers to social workers, police and medical services.
  • You will be supplying the best care to each individual; this must be person centred and promote independence and support achieving the best possible outcomes for the individual.
  • You must be able to supply the children/ young people with basic life skills
