A leading client is seeking to hire a Mechanical Engineer for a permanent role based in Sunderland, Tyne & Wear.
The salary for this position ranges from £20,000 to £30,000.
Candidates are not strictly required to have specific qualifications or years of experience, but should have a strong interest in engineering and hands-on work.
Experience in any engineering environment, such as manufacturing, automotive, or aerospace, is preferred, along with good communication skills.
While not mandatory, knowledge of electrical engineering would be an advantage and can be learned on the job.

One of our leading clients is looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer.

Salary: £20,000 - 30,000

My client is flexible on qualifications & number of years of experience - more interested in finding someone who has a real interest in working in a engineering environment and enjoys taking equipment apart, repairing, fixing, calibrating and reassembling.

Experience:

Qualifications such as NVQ or HNC in Mechanical Engineering or just working experience in an engineering role
Flexible on number of year’s experience - could have just finished an apprenticeship or have had a career as an Engineer
Enthusiastic, keen on learn and solve problems
Great communication skills - will be working in a team environment and also have interactions with customers
Some experience in an engineering environment (any sector - engineering, manufacturing, automotive, aerospace etc)

Desirable

Any electrical engineering knowledge would be a bonus although this can be learnt on the job
