A Year 5 Teacher is required for a lovely primary school in the Sunderland area. This is a full time role which will begin after February half term 2025 (or possibly for the week commencing Monday 17th February to allow for transition) until until at least after SATs, mid May 2025 (but it could run for a few weeks longer if the Year 6 group are being moderated). The school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.
The ideal Year 5 Teacher candidate would:
- Have good classroom management skills
- Have a passion for working with Keystage 2 children
- Have excellent subject knowledge
- Be able to organise themselves
- Be able to plan effective, engaging lessons
We are keen to hear from experienced Primary Teachers or ECTs.
To apply for a Primary Teacher position with Premier Teachers you must hold QTS or QTLS.
In addition, you must:
• Provide two referees we can contact
• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
