We are seeking to recruit new Exam Invigilators to work with the existing team in the running and facilitating of examinations in our North East Schools.

The work is temporary, as our schools only run exams for a couple of weeks every half term. If you are looking to pick up temporary work in schools or looking for a flexible ad-hoc work throughout the year this could be a good fit.

Do you have experience of working with children or come from an education based background. Do you have strong administration skills and looking for temporary work. If so, we would love to hear from you.

Free training is provided for those who have not worked in this exact role previously. We do however, select applicants based on their experience of working with children or in a similar type of role.

To become an invigilator, you'll need to be able to:

  • Understand and apply detailed written instructions, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Concentrate and work quickly under pressure, for several hours at a time
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Use initiative in response to unexpected situations
  • Be aware and committed to equal opportunities and diversity

Ideal applicants will hold a DBS and have experience of working in a similar role. If you do not hold an up to date DBS you can apply for one through CER. This amount will be refunded after you have completed 10 days of work through CER.
