The School and Role

This Primary SEND school, based in Sunderland are looking to appoint a passionate Primary Teacher with experience of working with children with complex needs who can commit to a 6-week placement, starting in January 2025. The school caters for children with profound a multiple learning needs, so experience is essential. You will be supporting children in KS1 who are preverbal and who have behaviours that can be challenging.

Requirements

The desired KS1 Teacher will have;

-          Experience of working with primary or secondary school aged children in schools.

-          Experience of working with pupils with SEND.

-          A passion for the progress of SEND primary school pupils.

-          An ability to work as part of a team.

-          QTS
