The role is to teach and assess specialist units in Fabrication and Welding qualifications. This includes maintaining discipline, safe working practices, communication skills and working efficiently and effectively. You will have full responsibility for allocated learners to ensure retention, progression and achievement. You will be delivering underpinning knowledge and coaching, producing learning plans and schemes of work where relevant.

As part of your role, you will work with groups of engineering learners and deliver practical training within the dedicated workshops on fabrication and welding processes. In addition to the practical delivery, you will be responsible for delivery of the underpinning theory in a classroom setting.

This may be on subjects such as Health & Safety, Materials, Fabrication Principles, Welding Principles, to further develop learners understanding and ability.
